F: Fort Worth Botanical Gardens

A2Z-BADGE-0002015-LifeisGood-230_zps660c38a0F: Fort Worth Botanical Gardens

FW2I think I could visit the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens every week and still see new sights on each visit. Between the changing blooms through the seasons, and the massive gardens to stroll through, this piece of nature sitting 3 ½ miles west of downtown Fort Worth is a hidden jewel. This is the oldest botanical garden in Texas and boast of 110 acres, beautifully planted and maintained. They not only have classes, workshops and special events, there are concerts in the gardens and several locations available for weddings.

A wide variety of gardens offer serene spots to connect with beauty and nature: A Fragrance Garden, Japanese Garden, Perennial Garden, Rose Garden and more.

Events coming up include:

April 10-11: Spring Plant Sale

April 18-19: Flowercade & Rose & Iris Shows

April 25-26: Spring Festival in the Japanese Garden

May 16: Herb Festival

May 30: Orchid Show

June 6: Daylily Show
